What changed

  • Replaced the dark square browser favicon with a transparent M from Mado’s existing wordmark.
  • Added a subtle dark outline to keep it legible on both light and dark browser chrome.
  • Gave the favicon files new names to avoid cached old icons. Installed-app/touch icons are unchanged.

Verification

  • python manage.py collectstatic --noinput and python manage.py check pass.
  • 60 Django tests pass after collecting static files with a local-only test key.
  • Rendered /login/ references all three hashed new favicon assets.
  • PNG and ICO transparency and light/dark previews checked.
  • Repository-wide Ruff reports 21 pre-existing errors in untouched Python files; this change has no Python source edits.
